I’m Masha Thomas. I’m a technical writer, a tech coach and an AI trainer.

I spent twelve years at Microsoft working on SQL Server and Azure SQL. I started in support, solving customer problems on live calls. Then I moved to Microsoft Learn, where I wrote and owned the docs for SQL Server high availability, disaster recovery and replication. I also led the content for Azure SQL Managed Instance and SQL Server on Azure VMs.

In 2026 I product-managed an AI authoring assistant for writers. The software was the easy part. Getting people to change how they work took onboarding, demos and office hours, so I built those.

Now I teach what I’ve learned to everyday people: how to simplify life with AI.
