Text messages under this program are sent by Masha Empowers LLC, a Texas limited liability company, which operates Masha Writes Well. By ticking the text-message consent box on one of our forms and giving us your mobile number, you agree to these terms.
We send appointment confirmations, scheduling changes such as reschedules, cancellations and reminders, direct replies to questions from people who have contacted us, and occasional messages about our services, availability and offers. That last category is promotional, and ticking the consent box is how you agree to it.
Message frequency varies. It depends on your appointments and on whether you write to us.
Message and data rates may apply. These are set by your mobile carrier under your own plan, not by us. We do not charge you for text messages.
Reply HELP to any message from us for help, including how to reach a person. You can also email hello@mashathomas.com or call us at (818) 600-2727.
Reply STOP to any message from us to unsubscribe. You will get one message confirming that you have been removed, and after that we will not text you again unless you opt back in. You can also email or call and ask to be removed.
Opting out of text messages does not cancel your appointments. We will reach you by email or phone instead.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Agreeing to receive text messages is not required to book a session, to buy anything, or to receive any service from us. You may always leave the consent box unticked and still use our forms.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier’s network and on factors outside our control. We cannot guarantee that any message will arrive, or that it will arrive on time.
Because of this, please do not rely on text messages alone for anything time-critical. We confirm every appointment by email as well.
Text messages are supported on most major United States mobile carriers. Carriers are not required to support the program, and support can change. You need a mobile device capable of receiving SMS.
Give us only a mobile number you control. If your number changes or is reassigned, tell us so that we do not text someone else by mistake.
How we handle your mobile number is described in our SMS Privacy Policy. In short: mobile information will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may update these terms. The effective date below tells you when they last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so before it takes effect.
These terms cover text messaging only. They sit alongside, and do not replace, any other terms we publish.
